How we keep TutorCelle a safe space for students and tutors.
Our role
TutorCelle is a marketplace platform. We may review reports and take action on accounts that violate platform policies, but TutorCelle is not responsible for resolving all disputes between users. For serious safety issues, please also contact local authorities.
Sessions with students under 18
- Students under 18 must have a parent or guardian linked and verified on TutorCelle before they can contact tutors.
- For every video session with a student under 18, a parent or guardian must be visible on camera for the duration of the session.
- Tutors are expected to end or reschedule the session if no parent or guardian is on camera.
- 1:1 contact with a minor outside the platform, or sharing personal social media with under-18 students, is prohibited.
What you can report
Students can report tutors for:
- Did not show up
- Was late
- Unprofessional behavior
- Inappropriate communication
- Fraudulent credentials
- Payment disputes
- Safety concerns
Tutors can report students for:
- No-shows
- Non-payment
- Harassment
- Inappropriate conduct
- False accusations
- Safety concerns
What happens after a report
- You submit a report and any evidence (screenshots, messages, documents, dates/times).
- Our moderation team reviews the report and the evidence.
- We may take one of the following actions:
- No action
- Warning
- Account suspension
- Account removal
- Serious cases may be referred to local authorities.
What we don't do
- Act as an arbitrator for legal or contractual disputes
- Determine legal guilt
- Mediate complex legal disputes
